sbo666 Aaron Hughes has vowed to continue playing for Northern Ireland as long as he still has a club career.

Despite Northern Ireland's failure to qualify for this summer's World Cup in Russia, Hughes insists he remains committed to playing for his country, having previously retired in 2011, only to be coaxed back by Michael O'Neill's arrival.

Hughes is undecided whether he will be available for the Nations League in September or the European Championship Qualifiers next March, but has assured O'Neill that as long as he continues to play he will always answer the call of his country.

"I think my decision to play on won't just be based on playing on for Hearts or Northern Ireland," explained Hughes, whose deal at Tynecastle expires at the end of this campaign. sbo666

"If I do decide to play on and the chance to play for Northern Ireland is still there, I'll still do it. It'll not be a case of me playing club football but not international football, it's more my decision whether or not to continue playing football, that'll sort itself out.

"The first decision to make at the end of the season is whether or not to continue playing football, then other decisions will follow.

"I'm not even looking past the end of the month, I'm really not. My mind changes so much. One day I'll get up and think, 'I can keep going on forever' then there are other days when you think, 'It's time, I've had enough', which is sbo666

MessagePosté le: Dim 22 Avr - 10:23 (2018) Sujet du message: Gennaro Gattuso takes responsibility as AC Milan lose 1-0 to Répondre en citant

Gennaro Gattuso revealed his “incredible shame” maxbet
after Saturday’s humiliating 1-0 defeat to Benevento at the San Siro saw AC Milan become the first team to fail to beat the tailenders this season. Pietro Iemmello’s 29th minute strike earned the club from outside Naples a first ever away victory in Serie A, delaying their probable demotion after just one season in the top flight. It was a double blow for Gattuso whose first game as Milan coach last December had ended in a 2-2 draw at Benevento when goalkeeper Alberto Brignoli scored an injury-time equaliser. Milan have now gone five games without a win with their Europa League hopes threatened. “I told the lads that I feel an incredible shame. We have written a page that is not very beautiful in the history of Milan,” said an angry Gattuso.

“Several players were embarrassing.”
The 40-year-old former Italy and Milan midfielder ordered everyone back training at Milanello on Sunday.

“I take responsibility,” he insisted.
“When you play against a team like Benevento, who play good football even if they are bottom of the table, you can’t play without determination or soul. “We don’t even need the opponents to do anything extraordinary to beat us. We basically tickle the opposition, we don’t hurt them.” Franck Kessie came closest to an equaliser on the hour mark when he rattled the crossbar, with Patrick Cutrone also heading wide on 74 minutes. Benevento’s top scorer Cheick Diabate came on in place of Iemmello after an hour but was sent off ten minutes before the end for two yellow cards. maxbet

But still Milan could not take advantage of their extra man, becoming the first team to fail to beat Benevento this season. Already out of Champions League contention, sixth-placed Milan’s Europa League berth is now under threat with Atalanta two points behind before playing Torino on Sunday. “We have to apologise to the fans. We are ashamed of this game, but we must not let ourselves be overcome with despair,” said Milan sporting director Massimiliano Mirabelli.

‘The joke of Italy’
Benevento club president Oreste Vigorito wept with joy in the stands at the San Siro after a fifth win of the campaign and first away. However, coach Roberto De Zerbi said he regretted that the team were just beginning to show their true worth as they are 12 points from safety with five games to play. “Benevento were the joke of Italy and he (Vigorito) felt the pain of that,” said De Zerbi. “This victory is very emotional, because it was a year of great mental and physical suffering.

“Winning at San Siro might not help us climb the table, but it will remain in the history of Benevento. “It’s a wonderful evening, for all we suffered through this season, and I’ll never forget it. “There are so many reasons why we failed to pick up points earlier, from banal errors to the fact we brought in so many important players in January. “I will always regret not being able to work with this team from the start of the season,” he added. De Zerbi was hired to replace Marco Baroni in late October, but after setting a European record by losing 14 Serie A games in a row, Benevento did not get their first point in Serie A until the draw against Milan on December 3. maxbet

MessagePosté le: Jeu 26 Avr - 04:46 (2018) Sujet du message: Liverpool look to avoid more late drama against Stoke Répondre en citant

เล่น บอล LONDON (Reuters) - Stoke City will hope that the Liverpool they face on Saturday is the team that wobbled alarmingly in the final 10 minutes of their Champions League semi-final against AS Roma, not the one that dismantled the Italians over the previous 80. Nothing is ever clear with Juergen Klopp’s side who ended up kicking themselves after the whistle went at Anfield on Tuesday despite ending up the right side of a 5-2 first-leg scoreline.

Liverpool also conceded twice late on in their previous league game at West Bromwich Albion to prove that, no matter what magic Mohamed Salah provides, there is always hope against them if you hang in long enough. Or, at least, that will probably be the gist of Stoke manager Paul Lambert’s team talk as he contemplates the daunting challenge of securing an away win in the battle against relegation.

Four points off safety with only three games remaining, Stoke could even go down if they lose and Swansea City beat Chelsea, who are still intent on denying Liverpool a top-four finish. That should be motivation enough for Liverpool to ensure they do not slip up again although Klopp faces a tricky job in deciding his line-up after injuries reduced him to three fit midfielders. Even that may not be too much of a problem, however, if Salah continues in his current form as he chases down the five goals required to beat Ian Rush’s club record of 47 goals in a season. เล่น บอล

Champions Manchester City will also be in the mood for records at West Ham United on Sunday. City need just six more goals and two wins from their final four games to establish new Premier League scoring and points records, both of which look well within their grasp. But, as one of 11 teams still scrapping to avoid relegation, West Ham have every incentive to put up a fight. The Hammers are six points above the drop zone, where Southampton sit just above Stoke and West Brom, who must beat Newcastle to stand any hope of survival. เล่น บอล
